When hurricanes Laura and Delta wreaked havoc on my home, leaving me and my six children homeless, it was a devastating experience. Witnessing the community coming together to help one another during our time of need inspired me to establish the Vessel Project of Louisiana. I wanted to pay forward the kindness and assistance we received because I firmly believe that it is through collective support that we can triumph over adversity.
